Welcome to Avalon Garden Designer!
Let’s Work with Nature
If you are interested in beautiful landscapes that supply both food and native wildlife habitat, you are in the right place!
My Services
In this single session, we will walk your property and I will answer questions related to design, resolve issues you may be experiencing, offer suggestions and recommendations for products and services, and leave you feeling like you have some direction with your landscape. I will offer you typed notes on my recommendations with any references I have for you.
You will get everything from a single consult, but in 3 visits instead of 1. Whenever you feel like you need extra guidance throughout the year, you can schedule a time for us to meet. This is a great option if you have a new project you want to go smoothly, if you are new to gardening, or if you want to maximize your production of flowers/food, increase soil health, and foster ecosystems for wildlife.
With my specialization in native plants, sustainable practices and enriching food production, I can create garden designs to elevate your landscape to a more productive, healthy, diverse, and practical spaces. I listen to my clients to focus on solving common garden problems, soil and water management, improving wildlife habitat and efficient use of space. Prices of designs depend on size.
Depending on the scope and size of your design, I am eager to get your garden planted! We can discuss steps needed for your project and ensure the entire garden will be given the best start for success, from sourcing plants through trusted nurseries to wellness checks after installation where we will navigate any further questions you may have about the garden. Prices will vary on size and scope of installations.
About My Process
My name is Maggie, I’ve run my own landscaping business for 8 years and have been passionate about conserving nature since childhood. After years of landscaping and helping my clients find solutions, I realized more can be done on properties to mitigate troublesome land/pest issues, misuse of resources, and improve food production. I began looking for answers by working with Nature, not against it. After completing a Permaculture Design Course as well as multiple books and coursework on native plants, rain gardens, and pollinators, I am dedicated to finding solutions that streamline new concepts with current situations.
